IPTraf Doesn’t Show Interface in Ubuntu

Iptraf is one of the most known console Linux network monitoring tool.

In Ubuntu you can have interfaces like enp6s0, enp7s0 instead eth0, eth1. In that case you can have problem – Iptraf Doesn’t Show Interface in Ubuntu. Or you can have error message “specified interface not supported”.

Fortunately iptraf has new updated release called iptraf-ng.

Simply you can remove older version of iptraf traffic monitoring tool. And install new release: iptraf-ng:

# apt-get purge iptraf-ng

# apt-get install iptraf-ng

#  iptraf-ng
